Rifle

LPR&GC currently uses the 50 yard outdoor range for high power center-fire rifles and .22 rim-fire rifles. Sighting-in of rifles can only be done when fired into the bunker located on the range. There are current plans underway to construct a new state of the art 100 yard outdoor range. LPR&GC has appointed a committee to oversee this project.

Junior Rifle meets on the indoor range each Wednesday from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Rifles and ammo are provided to Junior Members between the ages of 11 and 18.

LPR&GC also participates regularly in the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP).

Shotguns may also be sighted in on the outdoor range. There is a bunker located on the range to do so. Range hours are posted at the gate and are strictly enforced. LPR&GC has a great relationship with its neighbors and plans to continue this practice.
