Trap (Shotgun) Shooting at LPRGC

Trap Shooting at Lower Providence Rod and Gun Club is an exciting experience for both beginners and experienced shooters. LPRGC offers 16 through 27 yard trap shooting, singles and doubles. The trap field, located just outside the club house, overlooks a wooded area and has 4 voice activated oscillating trap machines which can be adjusted for fixed target shooting as well.

Young or old, experienced or not...come out and give it a try.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT TRAP CLINICS -- April 21 - September 29, 5:30 PM until dark

Wednesday night trap clinics are open to all LPRGC club members and invited guests of club members (club member must possess a guest pass and the guest must sign one of the liability waiver forms found next to the sign in book in the vestibule). All new shooters should inform the front desk so that coaching may be provided (no coaching is provided at Friday night open trap shoots). LPRGC thrives on safety and every precaution is taken.

FRIDAY NIGHT OPEN TRAP SHOOT – 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM, year round

The Friday night trap shoots are open to the public (members and non-members). You must bring your own shotgun, LPRGC does not sell or rent firearms for this event. We can sell you shotgun shells, see pricing below. If you bring your own, you are limited to a 3 dram equivalent maximum load using at least 7.5 size shot. A round consists of 25 shots (5 each from 5 locations). Shells are loaded 1 at a time during the round.
